Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

The Flow is an ultra-versatile foil, designed to combine incredible glide, progressive lift, and excellent maneuverability. Its profile was created to take off very early and then maintain effortless glide, making it ideal for connecting bumps, extending downwind flights, or keeping rhythm while pumping. Every restart feels smooth and efficient, every transition more fluid, and the glide sensation lasts well beyond expectations.
Made from pre-preg carbon, the Flow delivers perfect stiffness and direct response underfoot. Its premium construction ensures precise handling while remaining forgiving and accessible, allowing you to progress without limitations.
We chose to use HM M46 carbon, known for its high rigidity and exceptional responsiveness, to offer the best balance between performance and control.
With six sizes available – 600, 700, 800, 900, 1050, and 1200 cm² – the Flow covers all conditions and rider weights. The smaller surfaces reveal a lively, playful character, perfect for committed surf or strong winds. The larger sizes shine with accessibility and endurance, ideal for light wind, dockstart for advanced riders, or freeride and bump-riding sessions in wing or downwind.
We recommend pairing the Flow with Glide HA stabs to unlock its glide potential, or with Carve stabs to maximize maneuverability.
The Flow is mounted on our new V3 aluminum fuselage, equipped with a sacrificial anode to ensure maximum durability, or the V3 carbon fuselage for added lightness and stiffness.
Your Flow front wing comes with its own premium protective cover, designed for everyday use. It shields your wing from scratches, small impacts, and temperature changes during transport, handling, or on the beach.
Each wing also comes with a set of screws — three M8 × 25 mm — neatly stored in a pouch integrated inside the cover, so everything is ready for your first session.
Flow vs. Flare: two distinct foil philosophies.
Flare: With an intermediate aspect ratio of around 8.3, the Flare is built for sharp surfing: it turns tightly, reacts instantly underfoot, and still maintains strong glide and pumping ability. It excels in powerful waves where chaining radical maneuvers is the goal.
Flow: With a higher aspect ratio of about 10.7, the Flow delivers superior glide and longer-lasting lift. Less agile in tight turns, it reveals its full potential in small waves or gentle swell, where its ability to harness even the slightest energy makes all the difference. In larger sizes, it is perfect for downwind or soft-swell surfing, while in smaller sizes it remains versatile in stronger conditions. However, when it comes to radical surfing, the Flare keeps the upper hand.
In conclusion, the Flare favors liveliness and radical performance, while the Flow emphasizes glide and endurance. The choice between the two depends primarily on your riding program and the conditions you seek.
