The Wing V2 is versatile, stable, lightweight, and high-performing, making it an ideal choice for beginners as well as more advanced practitioners in various disciplines such as surfing, downwinding, freestyling, or even racing.

The X-Glide V2 foil completes this pack and is specially designed to accompany beginners from their first flights to their best sessions. Versatile, it is suitable for a range of disciplines such as wingfoiling, SUP foiling, surf foiling, and even dock starts. Its modularity with the entire Takoon range ensures its longevity and ability to adapt to your skill level. You can choose from the entire range of X-Glide V2 front wings, from 1200 to 1950cm², depending on your level and size.

Compose your Cruise Air pack according to your weight. Below 75kg, we recommend the 5’8 board with 115L volume, from 75kg to 90kg, opt for the 135L, and for over 90kg, go for the 6'7 with 155L volume. Generally, it's best for beginners to have a board with at least 40L more volume than their weight. Just keep in mind that inflatable boards, with their rounded rails, may feel less stable than a rigid board with equal volume. So, don't hesitate to go for more volume! Your beginnings will be much easier.

Regarding the foil, we recommend the 1700cm² frontwing for weights under 85kg, and the 1950cm² for heavier riders over 85kg. It's about the wing's ability to lift you at low speeds. Simply put, the larger the frontwing, the more lift your foil will provide, and the easier it will be to take off. But there's no need to choose a wing that's too large if you're lightweight! The 1700cm² will be more than enough to get you flying while allowing for better progression: you'll be able to gain speed while maintaining control of your foil. So, choose the frontwing size that suits your weight.

To choose your Wing V2, if you're lightweight or if you only encounter strong winds at your spot, then opt for the 4m². And if, on the contrary, you only sail in light winds or if you're a heavier rider, then choose the 5m². To compromise, you can choose the 4.5m², which will be the most versatile in terms of wind range for an average rider weighing 75kg. Keep in mind that when starting out, it's better to feel the lift in your wing: it's better to be slightly overpowered than underpowered because if you don't yet master the pumping technique well, you'll need a little more power to take off.
