Nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé
Les Glide V3 sont équipées de notre nouveau boîtier US en carbone moulé, développé en interne par Takoon. Grâce à leur rigidité incomparable, ces nouveaux boitiers apportent une connexion au foil inégalée, une parfaite transmission des efforts et un feeling sans pareil.
Nos nouveaux box de foil sont fabriquées en carbone préimprégné, polymérisé à haute pression et haute température dans un moule en acier. Ce processus permet d’obtenir un boîtier avec des fibres longues de carbone bien compactés, ce qui le rend tout simplement indestructible et ultra rigide.
Grâce à cette construction, si l’on compare nos boitiers carbone aux boitiers classiques comme les Futures, le gain de rigidité et de robustesse est considérable. En effet, généralement fabriqués en plastique injecté chargé avec de la fibre de verre en fibres courtes, les boitiers classiques peuvent présenter de la déformation à l’effort. Sur l’eau, cela se ressent sous forme d’un temps de latence dans la réactivité du foil, que ce soit pour le pumping, pour carver, ou pour les manœuvres. Avec nos nouveaux boîtiers carbone, la transmission des efforts est instantanée et la connexion est ultra rigide.
Plus longs, ces nouveaux boitiers donnent beaucoup plus de liberté de placement de votre foil. Ils viennent en 2 tailles: 33 cm et 38 cm en fonction de la taille de la planche. Ils sont ainsi plus longs de 6 cm et 11 cm que les boîtiers futurs. Ainsi, vous pourrez affiner vos réglages, afin de trouver la position personnelle qui vous convient le plus.
Ils bénéficient aussi d’une double ouverture par rails pour un montage plus rapide : plus besoin de démonter entièrement vos boulons de la platine, il suffit simplement de desserrer les vis, de faire glisser le foil dans les ouvertures et de resserrer les vis et hop, le tour est joué.

Molded carbon US box
The Prosurf boards are equipped with our molded carbon US boxes. Ultra-rigid and indestructible, they provide unmatched foil connection, perfect power transfer, and a unique feel.
Made from pre-preg carbon and molded under high pressure and high temperature, these boxes outperform traditional injection-molded plastic models. The result: no deformation, immediate responsiveness, and optimal performance for pumping, carving, and maneuvers.
Extended carbon boxes with double opening
The new carbon boxes on the Prosurf boards, now longer at 38 cm (11 cm longer than Futures boxes), offer unmatched placement freedom. You can fine-tune your setup with precision, avoiding front or rear stops, for a position perfectly tailored to your style.
Thanks to their dual rail openings, assembly is quick and effortless: simply loosen the screws, slide the foil, and tighten. Less time setting up means more time on the water!
These rigid boxes enhance your sensations and control, making the setup more responsive and giving the impression of riding with a smaller front wing. Become one with your foil and experience elevated performance!
Shape
The shape of the Prosurf was inspired by a drop of water, with all excess volume carved out from within. This aerodynamic design, combined with the board's slender profile, delivers unparalleled and pure glide in flight. However, the front bulb balances the volume, providing effortless glide in displacement mode, making it easy to (re)gain flight with ease.
Tail
For the tail of the Prosurf, we kept things simple: it's a short and slim board that takes off quickly and only needs to be stable during takeoff. That's why we opted for a round tail that provides stability and acceleration. A slight taper at the tail allows for more bounce on touchdowns, as well as more extreme carving without the risk of contacting the water.
The thickness around the boxes has been optimized to be as minimal as possible to achieve better contact with the foil and an unparalleled feeling when surfing.
Rocker
The Prosurf features a very progressive rocker, inspired by surf foils. Flat at the back, your feet are parallel to the foil. The scoop at the nose, on the other hand, is quite high to enhance maneuverability and tolerance to touchdowns. In short, a high rocker to allow you to ride the deepest waves without feeling like you have a high rocker under your feet.
Equipment
EVA Pad
3.5mm: That's the thickness of the EVA pad on our Prosurf. Multi-piece and grooved, it provides even more grip and comfort while navigating, while promising better water drainage on the deck.
Footstrap inserts
For those who prefer riding with footstraps, multiple footstrap inserts are available on the Prosurf. Our Takoon neoprene straps, sold as an option, will provide excellent support and comfort while navigating. Comfortable and lightweight, they are available in single or V configurations.
Carry handle
To facilitate handling and carrying, the Prosurf is equipped with an ergonomic handle located on the hull. It allows you to carry your board and its foil with just one hand, leaving the other free to carry your wing.
