Hi Noé, could you introduce yourself in a few words?
Hello it's Noé or nono foiler, I'm 22 years old and I practice wing foil / surf foil / kite foil. Having grown up in Réunion and Polynesia, I have always been drawn to the ocean. As a child, I was always in the water surfing and on a catamaran.
Since when do you do Wing and Surf Foil?
I started surf foiling and wing foiling at the same time about three years ago...Foiling was a revelation in terms of sensation and freedom. Regardless of the wave/wind conditions, I was in the water with these two supports.
What are your favorite Wing conditions?
A perfect wingfoil session for me is 18 knots offshore/sideshore with 1.50m of hollow waves that roll well over a hundred meters.
What are your favorite Surf Foil spots?
My favorite spot is a beach break in a mouth with a peak at the beginning then a powerful wave that comes in for hundreds of meters. We use the tide to go up to the peak. A perfect surf foil spot because you can put on small wings without getting tired.
What is your favorite set up in Wing?
For me a 4'6" Trix with a hs700/S370 with a 90cm mast and a V2 in 4m. Perfect for having fun in the waves or freestyle.
And a Surffoil?
The V2 slate in 4'4" with an XS 940/S370. Best carving/pumping compromise, you can send big carves while pumping quietly at the peak.
